Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (1) to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector (1), you will be responsible for visually and dimensionally inspecting product to determine conformance to drawings and specifications utilizing a variety of inspection tooling and techniques. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be crucial in maintaining our high-quality standards.
Duties:
- Perform quality audits and inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product dimensions
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
- Conduct inspections in accordance with QA/QC procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Document inspection results, including non-conformities and corrective actions taken
Requirements:
Perform sampling inspection of completed lots
Perform inspection of incoming raw materials
Perform in-process verification of product testing
Document inspection results on production routers and inspection forms
Qualifications:
Must be a US person
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs safely with or without reasonable accommodation
Knowledge of quality systems
Physical inspection of parts using common inspection tooling
Reading of drawings preferred
